Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 29, 2026
Prescription Refill Calculator is built around a simple promise: we should never see your prescription data. The calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser, so the values you enter (fill date, tablet count, daily dose, refills) never leave your device. Nothing about your medication is transmitted to our servers, stored in a database, or shared with any third party.
What We Do Not Collect
We do not require an account, an email address, a phone number, or any form of registration to use the calculator or read the blog. We do not collect your name, date of birth, prescription numbers, medication names, pharmacy details, insurance information, or any other identifier that could link a result back to you. There is no patient profile, no saved history, and no "recent calculations" list synced to a cloud account.
Analytics
To understand which guides are useful and which calculator inputs cause confusion, we use privacy-first analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics or similar). These services do not set cookies, do not fingerprint your browser, and do not follow you across other sites. They report aggregate, anonymized metrics such as page views per article, country-level traffic, and referrer source. Individual sessions cannot be reconstructed from this data.
Advertising
If advertising is enabled on a given page, ads are served via Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings or visit aboutads.info to opt out of third-party ad serving more broadly.
Cookies and Local Storage
The calculator uses your browser's localStorage (not cookies) to remember small UI preferences such as your dark-mode choice and whether you have dismissed the cookie consent banner. This data sits only on your device and is never transmitted. If advertising or analytics partners set cookies, those are disclosed in their respective sections above and you can clear them at any time from your browser settings.
HIPAA and Health Data
Prescription Refill Calculator is an educational tool, not a covered entity under HIPAA. We do not collect protected health information (PHI) because we do not collect anything from the calculator. We recommend that you avoid pasting full prescription labels, pharmacy receipts, or insurance details into any browser-based tool, including ours.
Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA)
European visitors covered by GDPR and California residents covered by CCPA have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about them. Because we do not collect personal data through the calculator or blog, there is no profile for us to export or delete. For data held by third-party advertising or analytics partners, please use the opt-out links above.
Changes to This Policy
If our data practices change (for example, if we add an opt-in feature that does store information), we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the cookie banner so you can review them.
